Delivery Policy
At Daily Dish Ltd, we are committed to providing fresh, high-quality meal deliveries. To ensure a smooth and efficient delivery process, please review our policy below:
Delivery Schedule
Deliveries take place every Sunday evening between 4PM and 8PM.
Orders must be placed by the Thursday evening at 8pm to secure delivery for the upcoming Sunday.
On selected bank holiday weekends, delivery may take place on Monday evenings between 4PM and 8PM. Orders must still be placed by the Thursday evening at 8pm to secure delivery for the Monday.
Collection
Collection is available every Sunday between 4pm and 4.30pm (Potentially Monday on bank holidays). If you can no longer collect during this window, please contact us immediately and we can make other arrangements. Please note we leave the premises at 4.30pm to conduct deliveries
Safe Place Requirement
As our deliveries are made in the evening, we require all customers to specify a safe place where their order can be left if they are not home.
This could be a porch, garage, shed, or with a trusted neighbour. Please ensure the location is sheltered out of the rain.
If no safe place is provided and no one is available to receive the order, we may not be able to leave your meals, and redelivery may not be possible. If the safe place is deemed unsafe or would cause risk of contamination of the food, we may not be able to successfully deliver your goods
Delivery Areas
We currently deliver within Dumfries and surrounding areas. If you are unsure whether your location is covered, please check the postcode/area map on the delivery page of the website. If your postcode/area isn't on the page, send us a DM/Email and we'll see what we can do.
Delivery Confirmation
Once your order has been delivered, we will send a confirmation message (SMS or email) along with a photo of the drop-off location if left in a safe place and not handed over directly.
Important Notes
As our meals are freshly prepared, it is the customer’s responsibility to collect their order promptly from the designated safe place to maintain food freshness and safety.
If you have any special delivery instructions, please provide them at checkout or contact us in advance.
